This recent testimonial report from one of our TTI pastors intrigues me for two reasons:
- 1. The fact that God can change ANY life and use it for His glory and the furtherance of His Kingdom, no matter how “messed up” that life may be. As the familiar passage of Scripture states in II Corinthians 5:17: “If ANY man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature. Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.” Looking around locally or globally, we see this evidenced every day!
- 2. The fact that the gentleman this report is from is a veterinarian! Being a HUGE animal lover myself, I believe God took the time to create animals to glorify His awesome creativity, as well as to bless his children with not only a food source/option, (My apologies to the Vegan world!) but also for companionship. I think it blesses God when we take care of the very things He created. I am reminded of several Scriptures on this topic:
-“The righteous man regardeth the life of his beast.” ~Proverbs 12:10
-“….O Lord you preserve man and beast.” ~Psalm 36:6
-“But the poor man had nothing but one little ewe lamb which he had bought and brought up, and it grew up with him and his children. It ate of his own morsel, drank from his own cup, lay in his bosom, and was like a daughter to him.” ~II Samuel 12:3
Remember, all of creation groans in waiting for Christ’s return. (Romans 8:22) All creation! Think about that for a moment. The Animal Kingdom knows who their Creator is and is waiting for His return, just as we are, to make all things new! Until then, let’s be busy about sharing the Gospel with other “lost sheep”, just as Kamal’s pastor did for him, and watch as God brings more “lost sheep” into His fold and uses them to glorify Himself.
Allow the following report to bless you as you see how God is using TTI to make “new creatures” for His Kingdom, and how He is using people to care for His Animal Kingdom creatures as well…
Kamal is a veterinarian who once served in government office, but due to his addiction to alcohol, he lost all of his property, destroyed relationships with his family and the other villagers. Essentially, addiction ruined his life and hurt the people around him.
Side note: Not only do our sinful choices destroy our lives, but they also have a negative ripple effect on those we love and that love us, as well as the lives of those we are in contact with every day!
One day, a pastor shared the Gospel with Kamal and Kamal accepted Christ as his Savior, was baptized, and received a new life in Jesus! Even as still a very new believer, his pastor sent him to receive TTI training. As a result of TTI’s Bible training, God placed a burden on Kamal’s heart to plant a church! His first ministry was to his family, and they accepted Christ as Savior, and then he went to work on the villagers, continuing to share the Gospel every chance he was given! The villagers saw first-hand his new and changed life, and because of witnessing this, many people came to Christ. Kamal started and is now leading a new church fellowship in his own village! Kamal also opened up a veterinary clinic and is happily serving his Lord, his people and their animals.
Kamal would like to thank all of the TTI family for giving him this opportunity! What a blessing to be a part of such life-changing work.
What man of you, if he had a hundred sheep and should lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his own shoulders, rejoicing! And when he gets home, he summons together his friends and his neighbors saying to them, Rejoice with me because I have found my sheep which was lost! Thus I tell you, there will be more joy in Heaven over one (especially) wicked person who repents (changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life) than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need of repentance.
