Dr. David Nelms
Founder and President
David serves as Founder & President of TTI. He casts vision and gives direction to TTI as we impact the world for Christ. David is a former senior pastor and had success in growing three different churches in Maryland, Iowa and Florida. He has been a trustee on the board of Luther Rice Seminary and has taught all over the world. David received a Master of Arts degree from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University and his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice University. David is married to his lovely wife Loretta. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Dr. Jared Nelms
Vice President & International Director
Dr. Jared Nelms serves as Vice President and International Director of The Timothy Initiative, providing direction and vision to their global church planting strategy. Jared is a vision implementation specialist with a passion for solutions that are sustainable. As an experienced missionary in both Asia and Africa, Jared highly values operating in the sweet spot between the board room and grassroots level work. Jared also oversees TTI’s development of disciple making/church planting materials.
Jared has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University, a Masters of Divinity from Liberty University, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University.
Jared is committed to serving Jesus and leading his family and others after Christ. Jared and his wife, Amber Nelms, have two children –a son, Moses and a daughter, Grace.
Dr. Fregy John
Asian Continental Director
Fregy serves as TTI’s Asia Continent Director overseeing national leaders and TTI operations in the region. Prior to joining TTI, he served as National Director for Leadership Development & Training at Operation Agape, a leading church planting organization. Fregy earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration and a Master of Theology from Asian Christian Academy. He received a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Fregy started his teaching ministry in 1992 as Faculty at Grace Bible College & Seminary and later served as Registrar Cum Academic Dean until 2001. He loves his wife, Shiji and their daughter, Arpita.
Koudjoga M. Nenonene
West Africa Director
Koudjo serves as TTI’s West Africa Director overseeing and developing leaders in the region. Koudjo is Founder & President of the Association La Bible Parle in Benin and Former Director of the Bible Institute of Tsevie in Togo. He graduated from Lome Bible Institute in Togo. Koudjo has 30+ years of experience as a pastor, speaker and trainer. His passion is planting Jesus in remote villages. Koudjo is fluent in many languages including French, English and many West African local languages. Koudjo is married to his precious and lovely wife, Pierrette. They have three children Roland, Benaya and a daughter, Laura.
East Africa Director
Andre serves as TTI’s East Africa Director and oversees leaders in that region. Prior to joining TTI, Andre served as a Project Manager in the construction industry. He studied Management and Marketing at Florida Atlantic University and earned a Masters Degree in Construction Management at Florida International University. Andre also serves on the Advisory Board for Joshua Blahyi Ministries, a powerful discipling ministry in Liberia. Andre and his wife Coline are eternally thankful to God for allowing them the opportunity to work with dedicated national leaders in East Africa.
Matt serves as TTI’s America’s Director. His role includes discipling pastors and raising up leaders that carry the vision of making disciples in those areas. He grew up in Papua New Guinea with his family, who served with Wycliffe Bible Translators. This gave him an opportunity to see the hope and power of Jesus transcend culture and transform entire communities. After graduating from Taylor University with degrees in Education and Biblical Studies, he taught high school Bible for 17 years at The King’s Academy. In 2003 he co-planted Journey Church and worked as a part-time pastor overseeing various ministries including marriage counseling, developing curriculum and discipling new believers. He moved into full time ministry, serving Journey Church as their Campus Pastor (2 years) and Discipleship Pastor (4 years). Matt is excited to further TTI’s mission of empowering and partnering with pastors in the Caribbean, Central and South America. He is looking forward to moving to Guatemala for 5 months with his wife Michelle and their 3 children.
Rev. Philip Dvorak
Director of the Recovery Church Movement
Philip serves as the Director of the Recovery Church Movement. He oversees the training and planting of churches focused on reaching people who have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is an ordained minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Qualified Supervisor. He has authored a number of curriculums; his most recent work is a 30 day devotional “Be Strong and Surrender.” He has significant business and ministry experience, including serving as a church planter, pastor, Addiction Program Director and Chief Operating Officer of a treatment center. His unique level of training and experience positions Philip to help lead a unique movement of faith and recovery. He is passionate about seeing people surrender to Jesus and live full, abundant lives. Philip is a devoted husband, father, and servant leader. He and his wife, Sara, have five children: three sons (Judah, Tobyn, and Amias), and two daughters (Mabel and Aybri).
Director of Partnerships
Dale serves TTI as the Director of Partnerships. He studied at Philadelphia College of Bible, received his Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Clearwater Christian College, and holds a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Tampa Bay Theological Seminary. Dale has almost four decades of ministry experience, ranging from working with young people in missions, to serving as a chaplain and counselor to professional athletes, to worship and pastoral ministry in local churches. The Lord has given him a heart for those in need of a Savior and he has a burden to use his lifelong ministry experience to further share the Good News of the Gospel and join the TTI Family in advancing the Kingdom of God! Dale is married to the love of his life, Donna. They share the same birthday and initials! Together, they have four adult children and 10 grandchildren.
Regional Director of Donor Development
Jen serves as Regional Director of Donor Development for TTI. Jen graduated from Gordon College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies and Communications. She interned on Capitol Hill for Senator Elizabeth Dole (R-NC). Jen has a passion for community involvement and serves on the board of her church, Vintage Church, as well as Real Life Children’s Ranch, a group of Christian foster care homes in Okeechobee, FL. She is married to her kindergarten classmate, Jared. On 12/13/14, Jen gave birth to their first son, Lincoln Edward. They’re deep in the throes of early parenthood and loving it.
Lanie serves as the Operations Manager for TTI and is passionate about working alongside of TTI’s international and stateside staff to accelerate the Gospel around the world. Lanie graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Harriett L. Wilkes Honors College, which is also where she met her loving husband, Nolan McKenna. Outside of TTI, Lanie and Nolan are starting a house fellowship in their apartment complex and are the youth group leaders at their local church.
Communications and Events Manager
Annemarie serves as the Communications and Events Manager for TTI. She comes to TTI with a background in Public Relations and Special Events, and has over a decade of cross cultural missions and church planting experience. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies. She and her husband, Brandon, share a love for church planting and ice cream. They have two rambunctious sons, Oliver and Theo.
Information Technology Specialist
Brandon serves as the Information Technology Specialist for TTI. He comes to TTI with over a decade of cross cultural missions experience. Brandon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies, a Certificate in Computer Programming, and is currently enrolled in the Computer Science program at Florida Atlantic University. Brandon is thrilled to use his skill set to assist TTI in their mission to advance Christ’s Kingdom throughout the world. He is married to his wife, Annemarie. They have two sons, Oliver and Theo.
Charity serves as executive assistant to David, and also assists with office admin, as well as travel and logistics for TTI. She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University, with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Charity spends most of her time with the two loves of her life, her sons, Justus and Jaden.
International Project Coordinator & E2E Specialist
Nolan serves as a Project Specialist with TTI. He works with leaders in the U.S. offices as well as the International offices managing projects such as orphan and widow outreach, the End-to-End project, the UUPG initiative, and more. Before joining TTI, Nolan led youth and college ministry teams in West Palm Beach, Florida. He holds a Bachelor Degrees from Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, where he studied Philosophy. He is passionate about loving his wife, serving his church, ministering to families, and finding a good cup of coffee.
Beth serves as the Communications Assistant. She uses her talents to engage ministry partners through social media platforms, design marketing material, and gather photographs and stories of life change. She is a recent graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University with a B.A. in Multimedia Communications and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Christian Ethics at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. When she is not at work or doing school she loves traveling, building relationships with people in the community, and drinking coffee.
