After several years of wrestling with God over this decision, Dr. David Nelms announced to the congregation of Grace Fellowship that has resigned as their senior pastor. Since a young age, Pastor David has felt the call of God on his life to reach the nations. He spoke out of Psalm 2:8.

“Ask of Me, and I will give you

the nations for your inheritance,

the ends of the earth for your possession.”

Pastor David’s love for the people and ministries of Grace Fellowship helped clarify that they needed a full time pastor who could focus solely on the needs of the local church. With this, he could no longer put off his calling as Founder and President of The Timothy Initiative (TTI). Pastor Nelms spoke fondly of his years at Grace and appreciated their patience in allowing him to devote a significant amount of time over the last five years to traveling with TTI and supporting the ministry.

Beginning in May, Dr. Nelms will be full time with TTI. This renewed leadership will allow for growth, expansion and further development of TTI’s organization. David believes that TTI will plant a million churches in partnership with like-minded ministries to expand the Kingdom.
